At FNQ Kidz Physiotherapy, we specialise in assessment, treatment and management of paediatric disorders including neurological, metabolic and genetic conditions.
We aim to provide client centred care, and work with the child and their families to develop personal goals and their own unique treatment program. 

FNQ Kidz offers thorough functional capacity assessments for children who are primarily affected by physical disabilities. We evaluate a child’s mobility, gross and fine motor skills, and ability to perform activities of daily living, and identify potential barriers for achieving independence in tasks of daily living. 

We take equipment prescription seriously here at FNQ Kidz Physiotherapy. With extensive experience in complex wheelchairs and seating systems, we evaluate the needs of the child over a period of time and will select suitable pieces of equipment to trial to meet the individual needs of the child and their families. 

Service delivery is currently operating  in Cairns, Innisfail and Mareeba.  Please contact us for physiotherapy services for children located in other remote/rural locations. 

Aquatic Physiotherapy can provide benefits when combined with land-based Physiotherapy alone.
Kristen is a APA certified paediatric aquatic physiotherapist with knowledge of the hydrodynamic and hydrostatic properties of water, the physiological effects of immersion, and all relevant water safety procedures.
